Atmosphere & Climate I--Three things I know about the atmosphere & oceans. New workpacket and standards for unit.
Pretest, vocabulary for unit, clean-up, Cool Quiz, & dismissal (cucqd). [hw-INB pages]
Minimum day--classes 55 min long. Biology students sit @ workstations A & B; Earth science students sit at workstations C & D. Biology & Earth science assignment for Day Two--review & post Weekly Science Letter for parents and discuss. Check INB pages ci through 21. Biology, then Earth science groups discuss key concepts in chapters and finish vocabulary. Post pretest score(s) in INB. cucqd at the end of each period.  Homework is unfinished classwork.

Day Eight--End of Credit Period. Assignment: update Student Science Website--click for sample, unfinished work, INB self-reflection, post credit with Steve, then begin NEW unit. To receive credit, all work for unit is to be completed by the end of the period TODAY. If you'dre unable to attend, send your INB or make other arrangements with Steve.

Biology Assignment for Day Five--11.4 & 11.5--meiosis, linkage & gene maps. Do pp. 15 & 16. Begin LAB--part 1, part 2, part 3 and cut/paste pages from workpacket into INB.
Biology Assignment for Day Four-- LANS, 11.1 thru 11.3 discuss Mendel & Punnett, take notes & do pp. 12-14.
Biology Assignment for Day Seven--review test. Pass? Enrichment activities. Fail? Review concepts, complete remedial activities & retake test. update Student Science Website
Earth Science  Assignment for Day Four--12.1 to 12.4--causes of weather, weather systems, gathering weather data, and weather analysis. Take notes  and begin LAB--CD weather stations.
Earth Science  Assignment for Day Three--LANS, begin vocabulary for ch.  12. Discuss concepts in 12.1 through 12.4--Meterology. Begin recording daily weather.
Earth Science  Assignment for Day Five--take ch 11, 12 and progress TESTS, begin working on Table of Contents and  INB self-reflection.
Earth Science  Assignment for Day Six--review tests 11 & 12.  Pass? Enrichment activities; Fail? Review concepts, complete  remedial activities  & retake test(s). Update Student Science Website.
BIOLOGY--cell growth, cell division and cell cycle regulation.  Take notes & complete ws pp. 3-8.
EARTH SCIENCE--concepts in 11.1 through 11.3--solar energy & the atmosphere--take notes.
