Miss Meadow Muffin
1988 Thoroughbred Mare
Shes Hard to Beat x Arctic Groom
Muffin came to me as a sad near death foal.  I brought her home from the local Thoroughbred breeding farm.  She was orphaned at 21 days, had a severe kidney problem and wasn't expected to live.  That was just not acceptable to me!  Now, 18+ years later, she is very much the center of attention (or so she thinks).  Now over 15 hh, she still doesn't understand why she cannot live with the people.

1992 Grey Section B Mare.  Melody stands 13-2.  She is an outstanding producer.  She has produced many lovely foals for me.  I have liked them so much that I have retained several of her daughters.  Pictured below are Penny Serenade,  Moonlight Sonata and Joyous Melody, all her daughters.

Pecan Creeks Penny Serenade
Pecan Creek's Angelic Melody  x Pecan Creek's Standing Ovation
2001 Grey Section B Mare.  Penny is a Melody daughter.   Please excuse the fuzzy picture, but thought the "special effect" was appropriate since Penny is now is her fuzzy winter coat.  You might call it kind of an "art" photo (you might)

Pecan Creek Moonlight Sonata
Pecan Creek's Angelic Melody  x Pecan Creek's Timpanist
2002 Grey Section B Mare.  Moonie  is also a Melody daughter.   I like her colt from last year, Banjo, and so repeated this cross again.  Moonie is in foal to Pecan Creeks Standing Ovation for a 2007 foal.
Moonie is my barrel horse. (Well - looks like swallowed a barrel, doesn't it?)

Pecan Creek's Angelic Melody x Pecan Creeks Standing Ovation
2004 Grey Section B Mare.  Joy  is yet another daughter of Melody.   She is going to be a big girl - should mature near 14 hands.  Pictured on the right in her "winter fuzzies".
