We continued on down the High Road, stopping in Chimayo to see the lengendary Sancuario de Chimayo, an 1800s church which is the destination of pilgrims seeking healing. We had a great meal at Ranchos de Chimayo, in an old adobe structure. Noted as one of New Mexicos places to get the nuevo mexico cuisine. |

Sanctuario de Chimayo is located in a little town in the mountains between Taos and Santa Fe. |

The church is another of the famous, very photographed adobe buildings in New Mexico. |

We found a little cafe on the edge of the plaza and had lunch. There were chile ristras hanging and just looked interesting. |

We stayed three nights in Santa Fe. We spent one day in downtown around the plaza. This in the interior of St. Francis Cathedral, built in 1869. When we were there last year my interior photos did not work. |
