| Rules require iron heads, so I am going to build a set like this one. In the coming weeks I plan to show how to properly prepare a set of iron heads for performance use. Note the Rimac valve spring tester and burrette in the background. Any serious head work requires these tools. Manley stainless valves are shown. The purple color is from checking the seat band width. Porting and port matching will be pictured also. Bookmark the main page and stay tuned. |

| Close up of the 64 cc chambers. Maximum compression will be needed at high altitude. Fuel octane is the main limiting factor. Timing will be adjusted for low altitude and low octane situations. No porting has been done yet on these heads, but note the beautiful machined seats. The intake valve size is 2.02" The exhaust valve size 1.60" |
