| Basis for the engine is this nodular 327 large journal crankshaft. Forged 327 cranks are getting harder to find these days. This is the only 327 crank I had in stock, but it should be more than adequate for the 400 hp expected. Crank has been ground .010" on both the rod journals and mains. The journals have been covered with LPS-3, a waxy storage oil. The crank will be throughly cleaned, de-burred and balanced. Note the wood crank stands. Simple to make and protect the journals from damage while inspecting and measuring. |

| Casting number and flange shape indicates this is a 1968 - 1969 327 nodular iron crankshaft. 2.45" main journal; 2.10" rod journal and 3.25" stroke. This casting number was also used for 307 engines from 1968 to 1973 but the end flange was different. | ||||||||||||||
