http://oak.cats.ohiou.edu/~cp391990/carb.html  This site contains a wonderful number of links which guide the cyster through the many differing options and diet plans pertaining to low carbing.

http://forum.lowcarber.org In my opinion this is the best low carb site on the net. It features message boards on practically all the low carb plans and even has forums for cysters and low carbers in Ireland. It was originally set up by a chef so the recipes there are great too and one can find loads of information on low carb cooking.

http://www.trulylowcarb.com I love this site. It is a great introduction to the world of low carbing and is very colourful and funny.

http://www.lowcarbluxury.com A  pretty online magazine crammed with information on low carbing. It features recipes, tips, book reviews and links to other sites of interest. It is not very interactive as it contains no message boards or chat, however it is such a good site that doesn't matter.

http://www.holdthetoast.com At first glance this site seems like an advertisement for Diana Carpenter's book, however there is so much more here. She produces a low carb magazine which one can subscribe to and archives of the magazine are available to read online. The magazine is fantastic and contains delicious recipes, tips and advice pertaining to low carb. The site also contains the definitive low carb FAQ. If you only read one low carb FAQ read this one.

http://www.low-carbdiet.co.uk This site is great as it contains information about shops, products and foods available in the UK and since we live so near there this is much more relevant to Irish low carbers. The site contains a message board and products can be ordered from here at a considerably cheaper rate than from the U.S.
