PCOSIreland was created in July 2001 in order to give help and assistance to any woman suffering from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), but especially to those women living in Ireland. This site was established prior to the PCOS Association of Ireland and is in no way affiliated with it as an organisation.

When I was first diagnosed with the illness I was amazed how little information there was about it in this country. So the aim of this site is to provide Irish women with PCOS (or 'cysters' as they are commonly referred to) with information and support. 

This site is not only for Irish women but doctor and medical information pertains to this country in particular.
