Ecklin-Brown replication
Built this Ecklin-Brown device from information provided by Hector. You can find the information posted in the files section of the Evgray yahoo group.  The ecklin is magnetically biased with  two 1" cube nib magnets. They are installed the middle of the vertical laminant stacks and the coils were wound on one of the horizontal laminant stacks. All the bolts are stainless and the ones going throught the laminant  are isolated with nylon insulator tubes.  The output coil is wound with 8 x 100turn layers of awg19gage. Each layer was brought out on each side to a terminal strip.  This was done to facilitate flexibility in testing.  The Drive motor is a 3hp 3ph baldor M3611 configured in Hectors RV mode (wired for 440vac, powered on 120vac, with Run & Start capacitor). The components are  attached to a steel Uchannel and they start up and run a lot smoother  now.  The following is data taken on a test made 6-2-06.  The scope shot below is of  the output with 6 of the 100 turn coils tied in series with no load attached. The output was bridge rectified and filtered to DC then a resistive load was used.

1) Motor power ecklin not attached        27W    (tuned with cap box on left)
2) Motor power ecklin connected           39W    (no load on ecklin output)
3) Motor power ecklin under load           57W    (50ohm power resistor )
    Ecklin output power ................          .57aac  with 30.5vrms measured on load = 17.38W

When the load was connected the output waveform changed to a bipolar square wave and the RMS reading droped to 30.5vrms.

The  next thing i tried was connecting the  two remaining coils on the ecklin in series. Then i connected the second cap box and proceeded to resonate those two coils. (see next page)
