| The Quilter's Thread has always been a small group of 30 or so persons. We like it this way...... cozy and friendly. We like to get to know each other, inspire each other and share with each other in all our quilting experiences ~ good and embarrassing! It is our hope that you are comfortable here. |

| An exchange of 12-1/2" blocks of any theme, colors, pattern or style with one partner per month. Assignments come out on or by the 1st of each month with the name and address of your partner that month. An excellent time to try new patterns and work with that stash that just seems to be accumulating! This is an exchange of 18" x 22" pieces of fabric. This swap is usually 7 times per year and a different theme is specialized each swap. This is a monthly swap of 6-1/2" blocks that are seasonally or specifically assigned. Each participant sends out TWO blocks to a partner and receives TWO in return. These are perfect little afternoon things-to-do and make great pot holders, wall-hangings, table runners.......the possiblities are endless. There is always something going on in this group! We love to make blocks and take our chances on winning a whole top! Check out the link here to see what is going on now! |
