This is the part of the trip my was most looking forward to ( althought the Vegas stop became her favorite ) during the planing stages of this trip. We spent one full day & two nights in town. The first afternoon we spent getting our clothes dry from the thunderstorm that we got cought in just 9 miles from the hotel. That night we had supper at a local Mexican resaurant. 
The full day we took the streetcar in to town to Burbon street, then walked to the river to see the riverboat that tours down the river then took the tour through the aquarium. All in all a great stay.
