The Radio Shack model RS-29 (Sharp EL-6996c) has an
extremely long battery life. Sharp estimates a life of
1800 hours. You could actually leave the unit turned on
for 75 days before the batteries would be depleted.
The batteries are two small lithium discs. Here is a photo:
When you replace the battery cover, the EL-6996c looks like this:
The screen of the EL-6996c is clearly legible. It is green/gray in color, and the text is large and navy blue. Here is a photo of the screen:
If the screen were much larger, it would be wonderful. However, the screen has only five horizontal lines of text, and each line is only 14 characters in length. Such a size is OK if all you want is a name, address and phone number. However, it is quite inadequate for memos. Here is a diagram which compares the screen size with the OZ-770:
