After having a fun day full of various activities, at about 11 o'clock Saturday night Amy, Melissa, Karen, Jess and Amber packed into Amy's car and went to Amber's house for about 18 hours. It was pouring rain for the majority of the ride. At one point Amy scared us all to death by screaming at the tops of her lungs. A bunch of water had splashed up on her side and it scared her, but we were all ok (except our ear drums). So after arriving at Amber's around midnight, we got ready for bed, then went to church in the morning. After church we went to this huge swing that swings out over a pond right near her house and that's what these pictures are from. Amber found it rather humorous to listen to the rest of them squeal as we walked through a muddy field to get to the swing. Then we went to a family from Amber's church for dinner. We left to come back to PBU at about 6 once we had finished eating at the Smiths' house. |
 Amber
always wears her hair in a ponytail. Amber's roommates all think Amber had
beautiful hair and should wear it down. Amber disagrees; she likes her hair
in a ponytail. However Amber's roommates constantly nag her to wear her hair
down or to let them put is in something other then a ponytail. After many
weeks of nagging Amber, she finally gave in and allowed for her hair to be
braided. Karen decided she should take a picture of Amber with braids
because it doesn't happen very often (the one on the left). That night when
Amber was going to take her hair out she made all of her roommates promise
not to take pictures of her hair down. They all promised they wouldn't and
none of them did. Now I'm sure you are wondering why Amber's hair is down in
the picture to the right. This is because Amber's sister was visiting that
night and she tried to snap a picture of Amber with her hair down. However,
she didn't center the picture very well... attempt failed. |
After
Amy and Jess would go running, they would be hungry, and often would end up
eating peanut butter toast. One night Jess was doing homework while Amy made the
toast. As Amy went to hand Jess the toast, it slipped out of her hand and fell
peanut butter side down on Jess's open Bible. So now in Jess's Bible in one of
the minor prophets, there is a big grease stain on the page.
There are so many pictures of us doing various things inside or outside of our room, but the stories behind them aren't so interesting. So here are a bunch of pictures with not-so-interesting stories. (Click on them to make them bigger.)
