Ready, AIM, Fire Career Planning WebQuest has been aligned to the
Child Development Standards (CD) from Cody High School, Cody, Wyoming.
Each Child Development standard is cross referenced with Wyoming State
Department of Education Career/Vocational Standards. (WyC)
Two standards were selected for this unit.
1) Students will develop skills in career planning.
1.1) Students will be able to interpret information from a variety of self-assessments
to identify career interests, abilities, personal traits, and work values.
1.2) Students will be able to locate and interpret career information and job market trends
from a variety of sources.
1.3) Students will be able to create, evaluate, and revise career plans.
CD standard 7 and WyC standard 6
2) Students will demonstrate the ability to use a variety of workplace technologies.
2.1) Students will be able to choose and utilize procedures, tools or equipment including
computers and related technologies.
2.2) Students will be able to use workplace equipment to solve problems.
2.3) Students will be able to apply safe and ethical practices when using workplace technologies.
