Later on in the day everyone decided to watch a movie together and spend time as group. Emma sat on her own in the corner of the room, deep in thought whilst biting her nails; Charlie came over and joined her.
�Hey Emma you enjoying the movie?� he asked, smiling at her. �Yep....well�� to be honest I�m not really watching it� she sulked; she really wasn�t in the mood to be happy, not even to Charlie. Right now she couldn�t even look him in the eye she felt so guilty keeping Tara and Matt�s dirty secret from him. Charlie looked at her strangely; she wasn�t acting her usual self around him anymore. �Urm�.Emma�.what�s wrong?� he asked, feeling concerned for one of his new friends. �NOTHINGS WRONG!� she snapped, causing everyone to turn round, Charlie looked shocked at her response �Everything�s fine� she continued, this time more calmly. Charlie scowled at her slightly and turned away to watch the rest of the film. A few minutes later Tara appeared in the doorway looking as stunning as ever, Charlie saw her and smiled tilting his head slightly, indicating for her to come over to him. Emma watched as she made her way over to Charlie and sat down on his knee, planting a small kiss on his lips. Next to come into the room was Matt, Emma again saw the eye contact being exchanged from Tara and Matt, Matt smiled slightly and made his way sheepishly over to James. Emma�s eyes were constantly moving from Tara and Charlie to Matt. She watched the way in which Tara cuddled up to Charlie as if she didn�t have a care in the world, and the way Matt looked on in jealously. Suddenly it all got too much for her, tears began to fill up in her eyes, she couldn�t be seen by all these people while she was crying, so, quickly she got up from her seat and rushed up to James� room. She slammed the door behind her and sat on the bed facing the wall; letting all her emotions flow out. James got up from his seat �I�ll go see what�s wrong� �No!� interrupted Charlie, getting up from the sofa. Everyone stared at him strangely �I dunno why but I feel as though I�ve done something to upset her, so I might as well sort it out now� James smiled slightly and sat back down �Ok mate you go� Charlie gave James a thankful smile and headed upstairs leaving Tara to eye up Matt. |
