| Hello!! I am a mother of three, a housewife, and new grandmother. I am from West Texas and recently moved to the Gulf Coast area. I have wanted to return here since 1979, when I briefly resided in the area. I have finally realized my fondest wish is to work from home with the flexibility to spend time writing. Women's lib did one thing for women of our generation. We are supposed to provide the traditional mothering/wifely tasks in the home, but we are also expected to bring in an income to provide for our families too. Easier said than done! I am completely amazed by how easy some women make that look so easy. I have some college education and have been lucky enough to have had a diverse array of work experiences. Blue collar, White collar, Government, and Self-employment. All of these have had their rewards and have taught me things I need to survive, but ... I want more out of my life than just to survive. I want to enjoy what I do for a living so much that I can't wait to get to work. I used to feel that way about a few of my jobs, but the reality is that we have no control over the creativity, or intended output of our work. Not to mention the potential for earning is controlled by the local economy, the good will of the employer, and our willingness to sacrifice our lives for an organization. Unfortunately this is no longer satisfactory to me. So I will just have to make the time and use up all that material that I have been hanging onto for all these years. I also want to be creative and have my new research serve a logical purpose to help others!!! So here is my chance to jump in and start writing part-time, take a few risks, and broaden my world once more. I used to be a bit of a risk-taker so I am excited to resume my hunt for the perfect adreneline rush and the search for the bizarre interesting variety of people that are out there to meet!!!
