Note: All navbar samples are
live.
These templates
are made for use on the "WebRing"
system. Copy and paste the codes over the
existing code for your navbar.
Please read
instructions carefully; there may be some codes
you will have to change.
These codes are
set up to work with your ring, so if you
copy/paste the code on your navbar editor, your
ring's title will appear. You will set your own
colors through the "Navigation Code"
control panel. Your navbar will not
be exactly like the examples.
Basic Style, Simple Upgrades. This is a
basic WR navbar with a "Skip
Next" link. The code for the
searchbox and copyright have been removed
(and cannot be used with this template).
The code is centered. The background
color will extend through the entire
table and the border thickness has been
increased. Mouse over hints have been
added ("title" tag) to the
links.

Three Level, Heavy Navigation Upgrades.
This navbar features many navigation
options, insuring that the ring can be
efficiently navigated. Can be used with
or without logo and ringmaster name (as
chosen on the control panels). Searchbox
and copyright have been cut out (and
cannot be used). Title tags have been
added. Recommended for rings with 30 or
more sites.

Three Level, Medium Navigation Upgrades.
This navbar has extended navagation
options. It is done in Tahoma font. Logo
and RM profile link are optional as set
on the WebRing control panels. Search and
WebRing copyright cannot be used with
this navbar. There is an added outer
border that will take on the color of the
text as chosen in the WebRing control
panel.

The Kitchen Sink: The following features
can be activated/ deactivated on the
WebRing navbar control panel: Ring
Manager profile link, search box,
copyright, and logo. Code contains
instructions for removing the Forums
link, and the Feature Site/ RM's site
link, and the code for the search box and
copyright. Colors can be set on the
control panel.
To use this navbar
effectively, the Ring Manager must
designate a site as a Ring Manager's
site. This is done from the site's
"Edit Site's Information" page
by checking the "Use this page as my
RingMaster web site" box. Also, in
order for the Forums site to work, the
ring's forums have to activated from the
"Global Settings" link. Lastly,
if the Feature Site link is to work, then
a Featured site has to be designated. Use
the "Don't Track Featured
Sites" option to feature sites for
free.
