Dracoforms
These tigers have territories ranging all through the mountains of the North continent and are, in essence, the predator rivals of the Ashwolf and Kriewolf packs, as well as the Gauru, humans, dragons, and Griffon. They are fiercely territorial and hunt anything alive that isnt more than twice their size if it looks like it could defend itself; they prefer elk and deer. They are solitary, finding shelter where its available, and usually make a lasting den where they can. While they do not permanently inhabit the lasting den, they maintain it for use of storm shelter and raising cubs. Such wild dens should be avoided and can be recognized by the long claw marks raked around the entrance. These Moaw are highly intelligent and respect the coaches that care for them, if such a person were able to befriend them in the first place. They will not kill if they do not need to for survival, but hunting instincts can be hard to quell, making them inept as pets. If trained as guard animals or even war animals, these hunting instincts can be put to very good use. It does take a lot to earn the respect and trust of one of these ice-element moaw, however. Their fur is usually white and grey/black striped, though all-black varieties and grey/black varieties are not rare. To the southern end of the continent, a cross-breeding with cougars is marked by a sandy coloration and a slimmer, smaller body.
