| Cats turn to photo album for Fastelavn costume hints |
| Inspired by an old photo of Mom in a cat costume as a youngster, Ted has announced he plans to dress up as a black cat on Fastelavn. That costumes already taken in this house. Its not original, Marlowe was heard to gripe. Its not even a costume; its me! protested Edgar Allan. Teddy was insistent, however. He has already started collecting costume parts, such as a black sock from the dryer that he plans to stuff and attach to his rear-end as a tail. With dibs on being a black cat for the holiday, attention has turned to what Edgar will be. Be a ghost, suggested through the photo album and finding a photograph of Mom wearing a sheet with two holes cut in it. Edgar wrinkled his nose at the idea, How do I get to be a ghost? Ted offered one solution: Throw yourself off the roof 10 times and youll have it covered. Edgar wasnt sure that was the best of ideas. Cant I just stuff a sock, like you? The potential for a hissy fit was quickly averted thanks to a little reserach into the Danish custom of Fastelavn, where people put cats in barrels and whack them into they splatter on the ground. On second thought, maybe I will be a prince - a 'HUMAN prince, Teddy said. "I mean, a cat costume is so unoriginal." |
