Paul in Ottawa |

Well, I arrived at St-Laurent that morning at 7h25 AM, and the artists weren't scheduled to arrive until 12h00. I was the second person in line. About an hour later Melissa and Brenna ( net friends ) arrived. For a good part of the morning I was sitting with Melissa, but some people were saving my place in line. I left my spot in line for a moment, and that's when a guy from Y 105 went up to the people who were in front of me in line and gave them VIP passes !!! ... Grrrr.... |

we wouldn't be allowed to get our pic taken with the artists, and I was pretty upset 'cause getting my pic taken with Paul is what matters the most to me. Anyway, they were running late, so the concert didn't start until 12h30 ... |

PAUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I totally flipped out when he came out !!! OMG, was I ever flipping !!! He sang " That's the Truth", and then " It's a Beautiful Thing". After that, the other artists all got to sing another song. They were singing, and I was in a major daze, just staring at Paul !!! ... Then he looked right at me and mounthed hi. I totally died !!! At the end they all sang " I Saw the Light" ~ Paul was worried that the other guys would forget their parts !!! |

At the end of the show, they started signing for the people that were in the VIP section. They had to leave at 4h00, right, and I was the first one in line, and I only got up to them at 3h20. I'm sure a bunch of people went home VERY disapointed. I met them all, but I was just thinking to myself, "yeah, yeah, I want to see PAUL !!! " 'cause he was the last one that we could meet. |

I was finally able to say to him that Brian Franklin says hi ~ He's Paul's old guitarist who now tours with the Wilkinsons. And Paul told me himself that he will be touring with the Wilkinsons in Jan - Feb, 2000 !!!!!!! |

A guy from the Ottawa Sun approached me when I was done with Paul asked me my name 'cause he took a pic of Paul and I ... But I wasn't able to say anything so I wrote it for him ... Anyway, I went for a drink after that and then I went back to watch Paul sign until he had to leave. I was crying still ... |

The next day, I went out and bought me a copy of the Sun. I didn't know if hte pic would be in the paper or not, but I knew that they would have an article on Fan Fest... I opened up THE paper, and right in the top corner of the 2nd page, THERE WAS THE PICTURE OF PAUL AND I !!!!!!!!!!! I started bawling ... Everytime Paul has been in Ottawa a photographer from either the Sun or Citizen have taken a picture of me and Paul and that was the first time our pic had actually been published. |
