- This is movie about a modern age Cinderella named Sam Montgomery ( Hilary Duff ) who was having a happy life with her father until her ad marries Fiona her wicked step mom. Things went on fine until an earthquake occurred and killed her dad. So now she lives with her step mom as a maid and employee in her father's diner. Things are going fine until she gets a scholarship in Princeton and finds her prince charming.
