This is the bridge at the end of the Kaibab Trail. Tip: don't take the Kaibab up, only down, if that. It is very steep although shorter than the Bright Angel which is 10 miles aprox.. |

This is one of the great views from the trail (Bright Angel). The trails are narrow (1 & 1/2 people wide at times), and there are no railings to hold on to. Don't go up and down in one day. But when you do go up/down take plenty of breaks and drink a lot of water. Also if you spend the night you'll get used to the thicker air at the bottom and will have to rest more going up in the increasingly thinner air.. |
