SUMMARY GTA is probably one of the most conterviosial games available on the any console, You play a gangster who goes around on a crime spree, You can choose to do missions or just go around robbig cars and killing people.

FEATURES the game starts with a cut scene of you and some other lowlifes on a bank job, but things don�t quite go to plan - you get shot by one of your partners in crime, and are left for dead. But never fear, en-route to jail the police van gets hijacked and you get your chance to leg it with fellow prisoner 8-ball (your soon to be personal bomb expert). The graphics and sounds compared to the PS1 version are a vast improvement. On my machine I can run the game with full graphic enhancements at a resolution of 1280x 1024, with only a slight lag at moments where there is a lot going on in the screen The player you control can also be changed to what ever you want (within the limits of the 3d mesh), so if you get bored of looking at the default skin - then either have a go at creating one yourself, or head in search of the many user created ones that will undoubtedly crop up on the internet soon. I could go on all day about the number of excellent features that lurk inside this game, like the ability to watch and save the last 30 seconds of playing time, but I don�t want to spoil all of the surprises. Along with Silent Hill 2, Metal Gear Solid 2 is one of Konami's A-list titles and is pretty much a must-own PS2 game. RATING: 9/10
