Our Home in Grand Gorge, NY

Joyce and Paul play farmer.

Our home was once a dairy farm run by Joyce's parents, Frank and Mary Cottone, until 1964, the parcel is 170 acres in size consisting of fields, woods, streams, and hills. The scenery is beautiful. Although most of the other dairy farms in the area have gone out of business, we are fortunate to have a local farmer cut our hay to keep the fields from growing up into woods. We spend a lot of time clearing small trees to keep the forest from taking over.

The garage and barn.

Looking down on the back of the house.

Outhouse held in reserve, just in case.

Looking at the barns from below.

The house is across the road from the barns.
