Feb 2007 Carnival Cruise to the Caribbean

On St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Now do these folks look like tourists or what?

Harbor on St. Thomas with the Destiny, our cruise ship.

Joyce, friend of flowering plants.

A pastor and his wife from Rhode Island who we met on a tour of Dominica. He works with our former Massachusetts pastor.

Tour of a rain forest on Dominica.

Most of the Caribbean islands are mountainous.

Dressed up for dinner.

Bethel Methodist Church (1844) on the island of Barbados.

Typical steel band with instruments made of 55 gallon metal barrels.

Our ship docked at the island of St. Lucia.

Guests were placid at the beginning of our snorkeling trip on Antigua.

Joyce's initial ocean snorkeling experience.

Calm water and beautiful colors.

Approaching the beach on Antigua.

Our snorkeling trip involved two catamarans.

After the day's activities, lunch, and some rum punch, it was party time as we headed home!

Elaborate dessert buffet.

This was a square dance cruise, and we danced in the disco lounge with old and new friends.

Paul and Joyce are in the center.

All good things must come to an end. We returned home from our cruise and had to dig our way in.
