January 8: (Saturday): A CD Release Concert/party celebrating the release of Latif Bolat's new CD, "Let There Be Love", will start at 7:00 P.M. at Berkeley Fellowship, 1606 Bonita Ave., at Cedar St., Berkeley. Class Forming:

International Folk Dance at City College of San Francisco Spring 2000 starting Tuesday January 18, 5:30 to 7:30 P. M. (Beginning -PE 518A) and 7:00-8:00 P.M. (Intermediate and production- PE 17A)

Students may enroll for 1 unit of academic credit with the current fee of $12.00 per unit. Students may register in advance or at the first or second class meetings only. The beginning class will learn about 25 partner and non-partner dances from around the world. The production class student has the opportunity to learn and perform dances from Austria, Finland, Turkey, Taiwan, Italy, Appalachian Clogging and more.

Sundays at Ashkenaz, 1-4 PM., 1317 San Pablo Blvd. near Gilman, Berkeley. First Sunday: Neal Sandler, Tom Roby, Marjorie Nugent and Ellie Weiner review the Mendocino Hungarian dances. Every Thursday: Mandala meets for International Folk Dance with Edith Bourbin 7:30-11 PM.

Every Friday: Albany "Y" International Folk Dancing with Mel Harte, Dan Unger and Asha Goldberg 8-11 PM.

First four Fridays: International and partner Folk Dancing at Chang's.
