Sarena Zemya is a Balkan band specializing in playing the dance music of Bulgaria, Greece and Macedonia. We also provide dance instruction to live music. The band consists of:
Ellen Watson - Violin, Gadulka, Mandolin and vocals
Jim Kohn - Clarinet, Saxophone and Dumbek
Claudia Levin - Percussion and vocals
Susan Comstock-Skipp - Violin, vocals and Tupan
Jana Niernberger - Dance Teacher, Accordion, Tupan and vocals
