Please go to Paulablum.com for current portfolio.Paula Blum—a resident of New York City—has worked as a graphic designer, artist, and textile designer for many years. She has exhibited at The Amos Eno Gallery, The Peconic Gallery (where her work was reviewed favorably by the New York Times), Columbia University, and The White Space Gallery. She was chosen as a finalist in The 2004 Exhibition of American Art in Chicago.

A unique take on depicting fashion figures from the 1940s through the 1960s defines Paula Blum’s nostalgic ink and watercolor renderings. In a time when photography dominates the visual depiction of fashion, these paintings set a stylish precedent—a nod to the past accomplishments of bygone fashion illustrators. “I see fashion painting as a genre among the tradition of fine arts that is sorely missed today", says Blum. "My goal is to depict the style of fashion figures with finesse from a courteous more civilized time."
