I am a current Phd Candidate at Ohio State and an Instructor in Humanities at Columbus State Community College where I teach course on Western Civilization, American History, and a special topics course on the Vietnam War. I will begin teaching a Global Cultures course at Franklin University this summer.
My dissertation deals with the the culuture and military effectiveness of the Late Roman/Early Byzantine military aristocracy. My major field is Military history, with minor fields in Ancient and Early Modern European history.
I am a great fan of fantasy literature such as Lord of the Rings, as well as 19th century science fiction writers such as Jules Verne. I run several online roleplaying games. |
