Fox Hunting
The Tail of the Fox

Once I was wild
Once I was free.
I never hurt no one
And no one hurt me.

But once while out hunting
To feed my family,
They came on their horses,
They came to hunt me.

The dogs they gave chase.
I was scared as could be.
But I led them away,
From my young family.

I ran and I ran
But they caught up to me
And they tore me  apart,
With their faces of glee.

And now they have caught me;
Their prize they have won.
Is that all I'm worth?
Just a moment of fun

Now I am wild.
Now I am free
But God please help those
Who tormented me.
