| Help persuade parliament to enforce a ban on hunting with dogs by writing a letter to them expressing your distaste for the 'sport'. Remember: Every letter not written is a missed opportunity: they have a high impact as not many people go to the trouble of writing them. |

| What To Include It has now been proven that a ban on hunting would not affect the fox population and so population control is no excuse to allow it to continue. Bodies of foxes recovered from hunts that have been autopsied have shown the foxes have died from disembowlment, not a 'nip on the back of the neck' meaning the foxes will have indeed suffered The government should keep to its promises and ban hunting like it said it would in the manifesto. A compromise is completely out of the question. The campaign to ban hunting will remain for as long as hunting does. Only a total ban on hunting will remove the cruelty of hunting with dogs. A compromise will have no effect on the thousands of foxes that will be killed each year if a compromise is passed. No one has a right to be cruel to animals. If previous governments had accepted the 'civil liberties' logic argued by the pro-hunt lobby, sports such as cock fighting, bear baiting and badger baiting would never have been outlawed. As hunting has been banned in Scotland, it is more than likely that it will be banned in England and Wales, and basically, the sooner the better. |
