Somewhere under blue skies
this poem will lie
freely given the wind sighs
that's how the poet cries
Life is fine it is said
by people everywhere
look at the fool self made
and what he fears
They are a small part
of the legacy of life
from a desolate spot to a heart
warmed by a loving wife
My feeling are very true
but I can't help but wonder
why I am often blue
I pause to ponder
A final gift to mankind
given freely to all
I hope you won't mind
for my ideas are not small
The legacy is carrying me along
as I write these lines
in my mind it is a song
made of strange signs
