It was equipped with both forward and rear rocket pods. The forward rocket pods were located behind the parking lights which folded down revealing the rocket pod behind them. The forward rocket pods were arranged in a four over four pattern.
As seen in this undated picture from a convention at which Van Williams was a guest.
The rear rockets were located in the rear bumper on either side of the liscence plate. The rear rockets in each were arranged in a 5 X 5 pattern, resembling a circle or a four- pointed star with a rocket at each point of the star and a rocket in the middle of the star.
As can be seen in this picture from the same convention.
What we all think of as the Black Beauty is the car featured in the 1966 Green Hornet TV series. Inspired by the Astin Martin of the popular James Bond movies of that time, the Black Beauty was truly a super-car.
Other weapons included a gas jet that spewed out the green hornet sleeping gas at the touch of a button. The gas jet was located in the bottom center of the Black Beauty's distinctive grille as seen in the picture above.
Another weapon was the Hornet mortar. This weapon was used only once in the episode Freeway to Death. It was used to disarm threatening front end loaders. It was located in the same hatch as the Hornet scanner so likely it saw little use and was a one-time weapon.
