| When Jesus walked the earth, some 2000 years ago, he communicated, through parables, with people the true nature of God and what was the true nature of man. Jesus, who I believe to be the Christ, demonstrated to the people then and He still tells us the real meaning of life and death, if we only but get quiet inside ourselves and truly listen. Jesus tells us all the reasons for our mistakes; the reason for our giving into temptations; the reason for our many illnesses today; our deprivation of strength and richness. Most importantly, through His living Word; found in the Book of All Books, the Holy Bible. The Living Word of God is this Great Book that has been around for centuries. Today, as I am writing this page on my computer, He still explains how we can overcome all these evils and the way we can become fulfilled in our own lives and also bring this true fulfillment into other peoples' lives as well. The Bible is not a book of "fairy tales" like some would say. It is REAL...and Jesus is REAL! He is the Great I AM. I realize some who are reading this right now are probably about ready to click out of this site. I HOPE YOU STAY WITH ME A LITTLE WHILE LONGER! I once was like this! However, I hope you will consider continuing to read further...PLEASE! The Great I AM, this man...this person...who is called Jesus...cautions us...not only once...but several times, that our stubbornness in sin brings us very painful and distressing circumstances in our lives--not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. (I can 100% testify to this in my own life!) Jesus further explains that anyone who separates from his own integrity; even though he shall gain the whole world--is an unfortunate fool! This Jesus, who was called the King of the Jews, this man of Nazareth, further instructs that we are only punished for--actually punished BY--our own mistakes. This simple, humble man, who later is known to be the Son of Almighty God, teaches that every...yes, EVERY person, no matter how deep they are in evil and uncleanness, always has a direct link to an All-loving, All-powerful Father-God. This Father-God will provide true forgiveness for every man and woman who asks Jesus to come into their lives. Upon doing this, I can truly testify to the fact that the Father-God's own strength will be provided to whomever asks this Jesus, the Christ, to come into their life to enable him or her to find themselves again. I sincerely hope I haven't lost you...if you have came across this page by just searching the Internet or if someone else forwarded this to you, I believe that it is by no mistake you are here...God IS speaking to you...yes...RIGHT THIS VERY MOMENT...TO YOUR HEART! There are no coincidences...it is a miracle provided by God to you...because He does love you and wants only the best for you. Thank you Holy Spirit for bringing this person(s) to this page...I know it is by your grace they are here right now. Bless them and keep them surrounded by your most blessed light and love. Here is a good saying from the Bible that shares what I have been saying above: 1 John 2:29 -- "Since we know that God is always right, we also know that all who do what is right are His children." (NLT--New Living Testament) Living In the Light ... Today and daily, I choose to live in the Light of God's Love, Mercy and Forgiveness. I know I am not perfect...I am still learning everyday what it means to surrender my thoughts, my actions, my self-will over to the Father-God so that through Jesus' promises I may live forever in the Light. Just what does that mean, you may be asking. First of all, I know I don't deserve God's love, mercy or forgiveness because I am a sinner. I did things in my life that were unpleasing to God that were not right. My spiritual path has been one of many twists and turns (not uncommon to many). There were times when I thought what I was doing was what God would have me to do. However, I later learned that it was my own selfishness that led me to do what I was doing and I have paid the price for my mistakes. Every day, I choose to pick up my cross and follow Jesus and it's not always easy. It wasn't easy for Him either to go to Calvary and be nailed to that old rugged cross and be crucified for my transgressions. He was free from sin...however, He paid the price for sin...mine and your's, whether you want to accept this fact or not. This was the Father-God's plan...for all of mankind! I am not an apostle or saint...I only know alittle...I'm still learning and growing in the Light of the Father. However, I do know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am set free from my sin nature--my rebellion, my wrongdoing, wrong-thinking, wrong-speaking, etc., etc...the list could go on and on! I am free because of what Jesus Christ did...the shedding of his innocent blood...for my wrongdoings (sin) and for all the followers of Jesus' teachings. He paid the ultimate price for all of us here on earth, so we could have everlasting life! Not just live for today...but to live FOREVER in glory with Him and the Father! You might have heard this all before or it may be something that you have never heard about before. Nonetheless, it is the Truth. This may be your final time to hear this! Only God knows what He wants for you! Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He lives...He is alive in and among all the Believers...and He can live in you, too, if you want to accept Him as your personal Savior. It is strictly up to you. If you are tired, wearied, and depressed...you may want to consider living a different way. He is the Light of the world...all things are made new through Him and in Him. If you are at the end of your ropes and want to find some hope...some light...some changes, you are at the crossroads of your life. You have to make a decision. No one can make it for you. It is your decision to make. Just remember if you make this decision, there is no turning back...no matter how difficult it may seem to be at different points on your journey. Just know that once you accept Jesus in your heart...not just your head, He will walk with you every step of the way. He knows the cries of our heart before we even ask...simply amazing to me how He can be so ALL-KNOWING! What a God to serve and live for! He first loved us before we loved Him! Let me ask you some DEEP questions, if I may. Are you unhappy, without joy and without any lasting peace in your life? Do you feel like your life is out-of-control? Does it sometimes feel like you are on a merry-go-around that is going around so fast that you feel like you are dizzy...going nowhere...want to give up...end it all? You can change your life...you can get off that old merry-go-around that is making you sick and tired of living! The answer is really simple! All you have to do is SINCERELY ASK this Jesus to come into your life. That's all! Here is a simple prayer you can say in the privacy of your own space. You can change the words to something more personal, if you wish. However you ASK...He will answer and step into your life...this is the truth! He has been waiting for you to ask Him for a long time...maybe you've heard him knocking...however, you were just too busy with other things to "open the door." "Father-God, in the name of your Son, Jesus, please come into my life right now. I want to live a different way. I want to know your peace and I need help with my life. I can no longer go on living the way I am living. Please help me...show me a different way. Amen." If you have prayed this prayer and sincerely want change in your life, He has already answered. Even if you didn't seen any flashes of light or bright stars! Realize that your life is on a different course and there is a new pilot who is navigating your life...and it is NOT you any longer. (You are only the Co-pilot!) That doesn't mean we don't have to do the foot-work. It means that the results of our lives are in the hands of the Father-God now! I would encourage any new believer to find a good Bible-believing church who demonstrates and focuses on the Word of God. There are many good ones, I am sure in your locale. If you need further assistance in your new walk with the Lord Jesus, you may contact several online Christian websites as well. This will ensure that you are staying in God's Will for you, walking in the Light of His Love, and helping you to grow into a mature Christian brother or sister. First, there must be a REAL Conversion; secondly, comes Commitment to reading His Word and thirdly, Communication (prayer) with Him--the Father-God and with other fellow Christian believers. |
