There are four courts, 1 km from Pattaya 2nd Road. Hourly rates

There two bowling allyes in the Pattaya with international
standard where regularly champion ship are held.Pattaya Bowl is
located on Pattaya 2nd Road in North Pattaya (Opposite the
Paladium) while PS Bowl is on the 3rd floor of Tops Supermaket
building in the corner of Central Pattaya Traffic light between
Pattaya 2nd Road and Pattaya Central Road. Tel no. 0 3842 0965
Operating hours for both are from 10.00 pm till 02.00 am with
rates per game averaging Bt50-70, during weekends Bt60-80.

Golf |

Pattaya have 18 golf courses, all very close, for a full or
half-day round of golf. You will find courses designed by some of
the most famous names like Jack Niklaus, Nick Faldo, Pete Dye,
Trent Jones Jr, Thomson and Wolveridge. These international
standard golf courses with 18 and 27 holes are relatively cheap
in comparison with other international standard golf courses in
Thailand. Pattaya is probably the best place for golf in the
world today. A package tour with the Golf Bus start at Bt900 for
and afternoon round at the Phoenix Golf and Country Club. Morning
tours to any golf course start at 08.00 am and 11.00 am. The
price rank from Bt1,700 to Bt2,100 for weekday and Bt1,900 to
Bt2,500 for weekend. All tours include transfer from hotel to
golf course, tranportation in air-conditioned mini-bus, green fee
and caddie fee.

The Pattaya fun go-kart racing track is open daily from 09.30 to
18.30. If you want some serious practice, weekdays are the best.
The 400 metres track is suitable for adults and children with a
choice of 80cc go-karts for the children.120cc karts for

Horse-Riding |

Located at Km 11 on Highway no.36, on the way to Rayong. 3km
before the Bira circuit Pattaya riding club offers horse back
riding facilities on forests and highlands, with 16 horses which
mostly originate from Australia. Those wishing to ride or get

Scuba Diving |

There are more than 10 scuba diving shops in Pattaya that offer
PADI or NAUI certified courses. Noted for quality instruction are
Safari, Dave’s divers, The Professionals and Mermaid’s Dive
Centre. For beginners the centres offer complimentary pool
sessions. This is an easy introduction to scuba at your hotel
swimming pool. The instructor explains how to use the breathing
apparatus and takes you for a short dive in the pool.The cost of
basic resort course starts at around Bt2000 per pax offiring one
day’s tuition in the pool and at an offshore island dive site
with full instruction.

Most of the major hotels in Pattaya have tennis courts.Although
the facilities in opened to everyone, guest are given preference
on court bookings.Tennis coaches are in residence at the courts
most of these hotels. Instruction fees range from Bt100 to Bt150
per hour.Courts rentals vary with each hotel, but in the most
cases play is free for guests.

speedboats. Best bets are at Noble House Restaurant near the Siam
Bayview Hotel or sailing club near the Nautical Inn, both on the
Beach road or Surf House International on Jomtien Beach.Rates

Boat Boys hawk the parasail at beach locations near Wong Amat,
Royal Cliff, Asia Pattaya and the Montien Hotel. On Jomtien they
operate at the northern end close to Surf House Rates: Bt200 to
Bt250 for five minute flight.
