This page was created to shocase my GPW restoration to those interested in seeing pictures of my GPW. Sure it looked good in the before pictures but just wait until I am done. I looked for 6 months for a decent jeep and I guess waiting pays off. this jeep has all matching numbers. the enging had a recent overhall. All I had to do was take it apart sandblast parts and re paint. the engine was easy the frame won't be so but I have seen worse. And Everything is marked with an "F"
GPW 82603
There it is in all her unrestored glory. She is relitavely rust free. except in the usual spots. No pannel replacements will be required. just patches. CJ rims are to be replaced as are the 6.50X16 tires with NDT

fire made with a jeep load of wood
Thats MY 1943 Bantam 1/4 ton trailer that I just sort of fell upon I paid $750 for that trailer it is 100% complete even with combat rims.
Collecting Firewood
Combat Rims
Garbage to some Gold to others
I got lucky and found 5 combat rims for $400 bucks. This jeep may be finished in budget with those deals Budget what budget? Until it is done thats what budget.
Someday mine will look like that.
Wha?  what a difference a little elbow grease will do. and a couple of bucks
Rusty frame. Unfortunatly there is some cancer and cracks in thet frame rail the boxed section was full of dirt when I got  it. When I cleaned them out there were skeletons of bsby birds and mice that washed out with the mud and large chunks of rust. But it is F marked and stamped with GPW-82603 so it must be repaired
