Sports teams, the military, investment bankers and all us have something in common...in order to be successful, we must have goals, and plans to achieve those goals. The air staff and sales staff must act as a team, because everyone's performance has a direct effect on the station's success. One thing separates winners from losers, it's an intangible source you can literally "feel"...I call it the 'X' factor. The 'X' factor is made up of each individual's attitudes, desires, commitments, and performances. You must believe you can and will win! If you do not believe, if you do not follow the plans to reach our goals, we will not win. There has to be excitement inside and outside the radio station...no one can accept mediocrity or complacency.
