About Patrick
Patrick Lose has spent his professional years in a variety of creative fields. He began his career as an actor and singer, which eventually led him to designing costumes for stage and screen. Costume credits include more than 50 productions and work with celebrities such as Liza Minnelli and Jane Seymour.

An artist and illustrator since childhood, Patrick works in many mediums. When he sits down to "doodle" at the drawing board, he never knows what one of his designs might become. He is probably most well known for his very successful collections of fabric from Timeless Treasures which include his trademark marbleized solids called "Marble Mania". Sewing enthusiasts are also eagerly awaiting the April 1999 release of his embroidery card designs for Husqvarna/Viking. But, whether it's designing quilts, wearable art, rubber stamps, cross-stitch, greeting cards, Christmas ornaments, or home decor, he enjoys creating it all.

His crafts, clothing, and home decorating accessories have appeared frequently in many distinguished magazines including American Patchwork and Quilting, Better Homes & Gardens, Country Crafts, Christmas Ideas, Halloween Tricks and Treats, Folk Art Christmas, Santa Claus, Decorative Woodcrafts, Craft and Wear, and Creative Sewing. Publications featuring his designs have reached over 18 million subscribers. Patrick currently enjoys life in the quiet town of Van Meter, Iowa, just outside of Des Moines.
