| Why do people fail (¶Ô¾Ä¼Ý§Ô) | |||||||||||||
| May 20th, 2008 Hi Richard, Many times, we had set ourselves a very good goal and also had the necessary skill and knowledge to achieve it, but still failed. Why? In some occasions, we think that we are smart. It will be stupid and boring to spend time to practise and get ready. We don't have the courage to work hard and work persistently (¶Ô). Results normally won't appear without a long and continuous effort. In some occasions, we underestimate the difficulty. When problems appear, we don't have the courage to face the challenges. When defeated, we don't have the courage to stand up and bounce back (¾Ä). Road to success will never be smooth. In some occasions, we are too easy to compromise and to bend our goal. There are basic principles that cannot be sold. We don't have the courage to stand firm on these (¼Ý). Moving away from our principles implies our original goal will never be achieved. In some occasions, we are influenced by our emotions. When crisis comes, we forget to stay calm. We don't have the courage to be patient and to adjust our plan accordingly (§Ô). Success do require time to reach their maturity. With love, Patrick |
