| There has been proposed the Gaia hypothesis, which speculates that perhaps this world is a single organism of which we are all a part. I also wanted to express the idea that our bodies are practically a world in and of themselves. And don't forget that we are "star stuff." The atoms of our bodies have come from the earth, which was once part of the matter flying out of the Big Bang. |
