Mel Bartholomew was a civil engineer. So when he saw a fine, proud, hopeful community garden turn into the worst cotton-picking, consarned mess you could imagine - he did what come natural-like. He designed him a garden that worked. That Square Foot Garden has been in books, on TV, on video, and even on the world-wide Web (www.squarefootgardening.com). It's worked for nigh on to 30 years now. Ain't no reason it won't work for you, too. So go ahead and let it. (Why should YOU do all the work?)
