PC2 (SW) Jason & Desiree Sheets ..
Jason joined the United States Navy shortly after graduating from High School in 1997. Since they were married in Aug.,1998, Desiree has been by his side whenever his ship is in port. Being away from home 2, 3 or 6-months at a time is not an easy task -- either for the person in the service - or -- the person left behind at home!! Probably one of the hardest jobs in the Navy is handled by the "Military Wife"! She stays at home and "keeps the home fires burning", and offers support to her man in any way that she can!! Our son-in-law is doing his part so that we can sleep safely at night, our daughter is doing her part by loving and standing by and supporting her husband!!! Desiree also holds a full-time job with Navy Federal Credit Union, keeping very busy while Jason is away is a "must" for her!!! "Hats Off" to all of our servicemen and women and the families waiting for their return!!
Here we have Desiree's good friend, Mary. Having your husband away in the Gulf is hard enough -- but during the Holidays, it's horrible. Mary and her family have included Desiree in all of their family gatherings during these special events -- to this we say,"Mary -- Thank You!!"
