My Vision

Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he. (Prov.29:18)

What makes a man or woman of God worth their salt is their vision. The man of God is only as good as his vision. In searching for a pastor the thing that you should be surveying the most is his vision. Does he really have a vision? Big question; cause if he doesn't, you're going no where fast. Every man or woman of God's anointing lies in his vision, or the work that God has called him or her to do. God will only anoint what he has called you to do. This is another reason why selecting the right pastor is so very important. Yes he may be called and anointed of God, but is it to lead your church? If not, there will be no anointing to carry out or fill that position. I'm stating my vision for you to see if it is conducive with the program you are attempting to run at your church. Everything in my vision may or may not be what you are looking for at your church, but remember this: If the spirit of my vision witnesses with you and your vision, we can work together.

Well gosh, where do I start? The vision that the Lord has given me is so big that the church that selects me as their pastor will have to be a church on the move and not afraid of breaking new ground.

Winning the lost - Of course this should be the foremost thing in everyone's vision. Everything we endeavor to do is geared towards reaching the lost. There are those who preach and teach evangelization (and rightly so). But I believe the major reason why there isn't anymore people getting saved in our churches is because the church isn't ready to give birth to these new babes. I believe the key to successful evangelization is having a church full of on fire members for God. Once the believer is right with God, they will automatically evangelize.

One of my visions is for the church to have a tent - I believe every church should have a gospel tent, not just the traveling evangelist. With a gospel tent we can get out on the streets where they are in many ways. This is one thing I've always considered doing: getting a tent and putting our best singing, dancing, and shouting under it. With a tent you can be so much more versatile on the streets then within four walls.

Equiping and training believers for ministry - This vision is so great on my heart that I know that one day, I will start a ministry school and training center. As a matter of fact the structure of this ministry school has already been given to me of the Lord, I'm just waiting on the right time, and the right people. Every member in the body of Christ has a special and specific call upon their life, but the tragedy is, most have no earthly idea what it is, or how to get started in it. This is the theme of my whole ministry; helping people find and fulfill that call.

Building strong families and marriages - Did you know the most important ministry you will ever hold or occupy is the minstry of THE HUSBAND, and the ministry of THE WIFE? If you fail at either, no other ministry you have will be successful (I don't care how anointed you are). The devil destroys marriages and families because he knows if he can discredit marriage, he can discredit their ministries. A succesful Husband, or Wife ministry is the foundation for all other minitries. Except these cornerstones are laid properly (note I said cornerstones, not Chief Cornerstone), your ministry will always be shakey and unstable. For too long I have seen people trying to have a successful ministry with a broken down marriage, and it never amounts to anything. If Husbands and Wives would just realize that the success of their individual ministries as husband and wife determines the success of their ministries in the Lord, they will fight to make sure their marriage stays in tact.

OUTREACH - I live to reach someone with the gospel. I'm all about outreach. I'm constantly trying to think of ways to reach more of the world with this gospel message that God has entrusted me with. This is my main reason for purchasing radio and TV time. For printing books, newsletters, tracts, and flyers. For running crusades across the nation, and going into prisons, nursing homes, and hospitals. For getting on the internet with webpages and live chat forums. If you are not a church that are not actively involved in some type of outreach, you should have plans to do so. If not, we (me and you) just won't get along. To me, no amount of money is worth the price of precious souls. I will spend my last dollar, if it will help me get the gospel out.

Reaching the Youth - I feel sorry for our young people because they have so much facing them today. I thank God for giving me a ministry to both the young and old. I just believe that living for God is the coolest thing any young person can do. I would like to have a youth department that is second to none, with young people that genuinely live saved. I've even thought about making up Christian street gangs called the "Bloods" and the "Scripts." Young people that are full of the power and boldness of God to get out on the streets and take them back for Jesus. Young people that have been skilled and trained in street evangelization and administering the tangible power of God.

I shall not continue to bore you with my vision, as there is so much more I can share. But suffice it to say everything else stems from these excerpts of my vision. I am so pregant with vision, I just need some one, or some church to help me give birth to this man-child. If you believe we are of like vision, then we should talk, soon!
