My natural abilities.........
Artist - I was gifted from my mother's womb, particularly with artistic ability. I have painted several pictures (most of which I have given away). I don't find very much time for drawing and painting anymore, but I know one day I will get back to it.
Mechanically Incline - Or as the Bible would call it "Wise hearted." It doesn't take long for me to learn anything, as evidenced by this website. I've learned the Internet and web page making simply by "playing around" with it. Put me out in the woods, give me a hammer and some nails, and I will build you a house! You name it I have done it, from building a house, to building a bridge, to building a motor in a car. I love putting things together. Building this website was not a challenge, but a joy. Each and every page becomes a work of art that you try to improve on from the last one.
I do all of my printed material: letter heads, stationary, crusade and program bulletins and flyers, business cards, newsletters, books and tracts. And as already mentioned, I do my own websites. As God is my witness, I have taken up no special training to do any of this; it all just seemed to come naturally.
Broadcasting - I produce all of my radio programs by my self in my own personal studio. I have done TV tapings, but I haven't gotten into producing that yet (give me time).
Singing - I am musically inclined. I wouldn't say I have the best voice, but I can croak a little. Although I don't play an instrument, I do have an ear for music. I have arranged and conducted a choir. My wife does most of the singing now, she has a very beautiful voice.
My Spiritual Abilities.........
Pastor & Teacher, - We flow mainly in the pastorial ministry, with a strong prophetic overtone. I am not a prophet and don't claim to be one, but when I'm out ministering in crusades that anointing seems to be more prevalent. We are both a teacher and preacher and I love to teach in series.
Teacher - I love teaching the Word of God. This is probably the foremost anointing, as you can probably tell by the info on this website. Whether it is at home, church, the street, or the Internet I love teaching.
Writing - I have written many books, tracts, devotionals, and newsletters. I hope someday to even write novels, and for motion pictures (all Christian of course). Again you probably can tell that I love to write as evidenced by the website and the many teachings on it.
Spirit gifts - Of course you know that God gifts ever minister with certain spiritual gifts to fulfill the office they are called too. Now when I say "spiritual gifts" I'm not talking about natural talents and abilities, as some believe; but rather the spiritual gifts that are mentioned in I Corinthians 12. The spiritual gifts that mainly operate in my ministry are: Word of wisdom, word of knowledge, prophecy and discerning of spirits. These gifts flow more fluently when I'm on the crusade field. As a pastor they seem to flow randomly as the Spirit wills. There is not a great need for a pastor to be fluent in these gifts, as his teaching, and gift of government is more needed for equipping the church. |
