Peter Stinson not selected for Portsmouth School Board
Click here to see the pages I built in support of my candidacy for the School Board.  Material includes my philosophy about educational leadership and community-building.
In May/June 2003 a vacancy on the Portsmouth, Virginia, School Board was filled from a slate of volunteers from the citizenry of the City.  Eleven people put their names forward; three were chosen as finalized and interviewed by the Board; one person was selected on 26 June.  Mark DiVenutia, an eleven-year resident of the City and a former employee of the Renaissance Hotel in Olde Towne Portsmouth, was selected by the Board; the appointment was unanimous.
