Pasta Amore History:
In 1995, Chef Nick Rosso had a dream to start his own Italian restaurant. He called it Pasta Amore. There were only a few Italian Restaurants in the Halfmoon area; one of those being Pasta Amore Restaurant. We have been in business for 23 years now. Throughout these many years we have seen many changes in the area as far as restaurants, people, and stores that have come and gone. With these changes is also the economy. We started as a family owned business with little competition in the area. Today we are surrounded with many different restaurants, which makes for a fierce competitive market.
In recent years, we have become involved in supporting charitable events for local food banks in which we collected canned goods, donated soup for the “Empty Bowls” event, and donated a percentage of proceeds for “Dine Out for Hunger”. Also, we have joined with the American Autism Association in which we donated a percentage of one evening's profits. We enjoy giving back to the community and helping such needed foundations.
Where We Are Today?
Today, we are proud to say that we are one of the few, remaining, family-owned Italian restaurants in Saratoga County. We pride ourselves on making fresh food for our customers. By making every entrée to order, we do not sacrifice quality or quantity. We have also an outdoor seating area for customers who bring their dogs or who would like to smoke.
