Chapter Six
Miguel and Eric agreed to come and donate some blood. Kay smiled at Simone and whispered in her ear. Simone, this will pull off, right? Simone eyed her. Yes, Kay. Now chill out! She hissed. Kay ignored her and went to sit down. She saw Miguel coming out as Eric walked in to get some of his blood drawn. Miguel stepped up to Kay. Simone, is a good doctor, isnt she? He sat beside her. Yeah, she is. Im so proud of her. Im sure her folks are thrilled. She beamed. Yeah. Kay, I havent seen you in a while. Whats been going on with you? His hazel eyes stared at her.
Nothing much. Theresa is being Theresa as usual. They both chuckled.

Yeah, Theresa is a hand full. He ran his fingers through his dark hair. Kay, would you like to join me for some coffee at the Book Caf later on? He raised. Sure . . . what time? She mumbled. How about seven? He was hoping shell accept. Seven sounds fine. Kay said, remaining calm.

Good, we have a lot to catch up on.

Yeah, we do. Kay studied his smile and how his eyes havent left her.

See you until then, he kissed her on the cheek goodbye. Kay touched her cheek and she can still feel the burning of his sensual lips pressing on her delicate skin. Oh, Miguel. How I longed to be with you once more . . . She started to fantasize about her and Miguel making love like they used to. Kay, are you ready? Eric demanded while interrupting Kays train of thought.

Yea, ready as Ill ever be. She whispered. Are you all right? You seem distant? Eric pressed his hot hand on her back. Im fine, Eric. Where are we going? She looked confused. Im dropping you back to our place and I have to head back to the office. He said after they both went in the car. They both fastened their seatbelts and took off.
Seven o clock has already arrived as Kay is patiently waiting on Miguel. There he was, she saw him walking through the door. Boy, he looked magnificent! His hazel eyes light up when he exchanged a smile with her; and his sexy smile captured her. This sexy specimen sat down in front of her and reached for her hand, tenderly. Miguel? What do you want to talk about? Kay moved her hand away from his. Miguel noticed how tense she is. Kay, you remembered our last conversation, dont you?

Sure. She felt uncomfortable discussing this.

Good, because I want to start on where wed left off . . . Kays eyes gazed at him with curiosity, wondering what the hell is going on with him.

Kay, I dont know how much longer can I hold this urge I have for you. This feeling has been lingering inside me for three years. Three years? That was the same time I got married and havent been around in Harmony. Kay contemplated. Three years? Miguel, that was the same time when I got married and havent been in Harmony since then; until now. Kay twiddled her thumbs. I know, Kay. And I cant deny of how you make me feel. His hand touched for hers again. Kay felt unease about it and decided to take her hand back. Miguel, youve made your choice when youd abandon me at the alter. Why are we bringing up old stuff? Kay narrowed her eyes at him.
Miguel loves it when Kay glare at him; it adds a hint of sexiness to her enchanting eyes. I know, Kay. But hear me out before youll dismiss me. demanded Miguel.

Miguel, I feel this is not the place we should be talking about our past . . . She whispered low enough for Miguel to hear her. Then why dont we go out? Miguel stood up and lend out his arm to Kay. She placed her arm in his and they both departed from the Book Caf.

Where are we going?

Youll see . . . Miguel curved his lips. Kay refused to ask him anymore and chose to stay quiet. What option does she have? She cant possibly abandon him, making him feel like a complete asshole. And she definitely cant bring up the past; this is bothering her to the fullest. She doesnt like itnot one bitwhat will she do? Miguel opened the door for her after he had parked the car outside his cabin. Kay was caught off guard, not knowing what to do. Miguel unlocked the door and turned around. Arent you going to come in? Miguel stared at her hard, with the short black skirt she has on; showing her slender shapely legs; her white blouse pressing against her breasts, showing the sensitivity of how her nipples have tightened. Her hair is simply pulled up in a twist and her make up is flawless. Her heels were clattering the floor after her brief vacillation.

Miguel watched Kay walked in and her hips were calling out to him. She turned around and faced him. All right, Miguel. Why do you want to hatch up the past? She placed her hand on her hips.

I cant deny of how I feel about you anymore. He paced up to her quickly, eyeing her. From where Kay is standing, she can see how Miguels shaft is swelling underneath his pants; aching to release this sexual tension he has for her; and wanting to be inside her terribly. I cant conceal it. Miguel draw her closer to him and Kay can feel his hard body rubbing against hers.

Miguel . . . He hushed Kay by putting his index finger on her pouty lips. Dont say another word. He whispered seductively in her ear. Kay began to quiver and her knees started to tremble. Miguel covered his mouth over hers; indulging the savored moment to entice her into making love to him. Kay had broke herself free from Miguel. He looked at her and wondered why she had stopped. What was going on with her? Is she literally trying to push Miguel away from her or she doesnt want to do wrong by her husband whom she love dearly. But not in the same manner as she love Miguel. Kay? Is something wrong? Miguel finally asked her.

Kay shook her head, embarrassed. Miguel, this is wrong and II cantcant do this. We had our opportunity five years ago! We cant pick up on where wed left off . . . dont you see this is nefarious for us to commit adultery? She blinked at him.

Kay, do not turn your back on me! He chided. Me? Miguel, were married! Or have you forgotten? I know this must have registered through your head. Certainly you cant say its okay for us to do this. She tried to stop herself from shaking, but it was no use. Kay, dont be afraid, you know I would never hurt you. You know that, right? He searched for her eyes.

Miguel . . .

Dont Miguel me. Kay, why are you so hell bent on seducing me? He interrogated her boldly. Kay doesnt know how to explain it to him; she cant let the words slip from her mouth. Its inconceivable. There is no doubt in her mind that she doesnt want to do this: not to Charity and definitely not to Eric.

Kay? Are you going to answer me or not? requisitioned Miguel.

Miguel, I need time to think, please. I need to go home! She was infuriated. I dont need to be chastised! Im not your wife, Charity is! She hollered. If you want lusty sex from her then so be it! Get it from her! Im not the one to reckon for some damned booty call! Kay stormed out of the cabin. Miguel stopped and looked at her for a minute then he managed to go after her. Kay, dont you walk away from me! Let me take you home. He caught up with her before she went any further. Miguel, Ive made myself clear. I rather walk home. She said sternly. Kay, Ill be damned if I let you walk out here alone! He yelled. If you let me walk out here by myself? Her voice stiffened.

Who the hell do you think you are?! She grimaced.

Im taking you home and that is final! Dont patronize me, Kay. Youre coming with me now! He roared. Thats it. Kay was losing her self control. You bastard! She slapped him hard; harder than she couldve ever imagined. Dont you dare put your hands on me! She cried. Miguel refused to harm her because he would never lay his hand on a woman; never.

Kay, Im sorry. II didnt mean to upset you. Please, forgive me. Dont be angry at me. I cant bear it if you never speak to me again. He replied truthfully. Kay gazed at him and wiped her tear stained face. Its okay, Miguel. Id never thought you would want me back five years later . . .

Theres a first time for everything, now isnt it? He folded his arms, smiling at her and welcomed her back inside.

Dont worry, I have a separate room for you. He assured her. Goodnight, Miguel. She kissed his cheek goodnight. Night to you, too. He whispered, seeing her walking into the spare bedroom. Kay closed the door behind her. Oh, Miguel. This is so hard. I dont know how much longer I can put up with this . . .
