I learned a lot on this trip!
One,
I want to go back! Maybe not Hong Kong (although I would go
in a heartbeat), but back to Asia. I guess I already knew that,
but this really confirmed it.
I also learned that I need to be more bold
in presenting my faith and in giving people
an opportunity to respond to the gospel all the time.
I learned that we serve a trustworthy God!
2 Samuel 7:28 says, " O Sovereign LORD, you are God! Your words are trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant."
I learned that nothing is impossible with God!!
This is easy to say, but each time God teaches it to me, it is a hard
but good lesson! Thankfully He is patient and continues to teach
it to me step by step!
I learned more, but this about sums up the most important lessons!
My first Sunday in Hong Kong, God gave me Psalm 86.
Here are verses 8-13:
| Among the gods there is none like you, O
Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.
All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O
Lord; they will bring glory to your name.
For you are great and do marvelous
deeds; you alone are God.
Teach me your way, O
LORD, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name.
I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my
heart; I will glorify your name forever.
For great is your love toward
me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave.
