Small Business Women Committed to Making A "Positive Difference in the Lives of Other Women"
Women of Vision Enhancing Network is a faith-based organization comprised of women who are existing business owners, have a desire to become a business owner, is the head of an organization, or would like to be involved with other positive women. We decided that it was time to join forces and form a support group of women who have a "vision" to help themselves and others. Armed with unbridled determination, WOVEN has adopted the philosophy "Because We Can".
Formed in April 2000, WOVEN is a 15-year "vision" of its founder and CEO, Jacqueline Morton-Dobson. The organization has a network of businesses and organizations, all owned or operated by women from all walks of like, offering diverse services to the community and with commitment to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
To become a member, all interested applicants must submit an application. Upon application approval, businesses will be placed in our networking database, therefore being expected to perform their service in an efficient and professional manner. All businesses are separate entities and WOVEN serves only as their primary "networking umbrella" and support group. A monthly meeting is held and all members are notified as to the time, date, and location via postal mail, email, phone calls, various published newspapers and women's magazines, as well as WOVEN's monthly newsletter.
WOVEN meets on the second Sunday of every month (excluding holidays) at 3pm at different locations, and strictly enforces a non-negotiable requirement that each business is of a reputable nature.
