| Ranch owner Henry Jordan stops another rancher (Dewalt) from watering cattle in HIS creek. |
| Dewalt shoots Colter ( one of Jordan's men). Jack & Clive hear the shots and investigate. |
| "Drop 'em." |
| "Now!" |
| While Marie is tending to the wounded man, the young doctor comes in and introduces himself |
| as Dr. Steven Adams. He tells Marie she must close her office...she doesn't have a license to |
| practice medicine. |
| Dr. Adams then goes to the detachment and tells corporal Bennett that he must enforce the |
| law and see that Marie closes her practice, or he will press charges against her. |
| AND gives Jordan a warnin'. (sweet). |

| ...then continues to argue... |
| They take the wounded ranch hand back to Marie's... |

| Jack bumps into a young man who has |
| just gotten off the stage, "Sorry mister." |
| "It's doctor." he replies. |
 |

| The lawmen are having a 'discussion' |
| on the boardwalk....not paying attention, |
| Craddock gives him a strange look... |
| "Look Clive,A man's gotta right ta defend his property." |
| "Then YOU pick up the bodies Craddock!" |

| Clive tells Marie. |
| Jack pays Henry Jordan a visit. |

| "This ain't a social visit." |

| When he arrives back in Bordertown Jack tries to convince Marie to set up her office on his side. |
| She removes her sign and goes inside..leaving him standing on the doorstep. |
