| Clive walks Anna back to Sally's boarding house and kisses her good night. |
| He returns to the detachment to find Couteau asleep at his desk, and Jack giving him dirty looks. |
| "I trust you finished spoonin'? Couteau |
| Gabriel Couteau thinks he knows where they are |
| hiding, he wants to help the lawmen arrest them. |
| The next morning Couteau leaves town alone, he will find the Caines and arrange to buy their |
| whiskey and rifles,Clive and Jack will be close by. |
| Anna doesn't want Clive to go. |
| "Do you think the Caine's will still be there Jack?" |
| "Probably not, that would make 'em incompetant ... |
| We could be ridin' into a hornets nest, you make sure yer thinkin' straight...I don't aim ta die |
| because yer head is filled with hearts n' flowers." |
| The Caine boys know that Couteau is a friend of the lawmen. |
| Paul Caine knocks him out and yells for the lawmen to show themselves. |
| Jack tells Clive to stay put. |
| "Drop yer gun marshal!" |
| "Where's yer mountie friend?" |
| "He ain't here." |
| Clive comes out shootin', two of the Caine's are |
| killed, but Jack wrestles Paul to the ground. |
| Clive returns to town, leaving Jack and Gabriel to bring back the bodies and the prisoner. |
| While Jack loads the bodies onto the horses, Paul Caine hits Couteau and escapes. |
| Caine is screaming at Clive "I'll get you mountie!" |
| Meanwhile Clive and Anna have gone for a walk, he proposes, she accepts. |
| They return to town, Clive yells at Marie "I'd you to meet the futre Mrs. Bennett." |
| Marie tries to pretend she is happy. |
| Suddenly Paul Caine appears "Yer dead mountie!" |
| Marshal Craddock rides in and opens fire on Caine. |
| Caine shoots back, Jack is thrown from his horse |
| and trampled. |
| Caine turns his gun back to the mountie - and fires. |
